I will overwhelm 'credible combatant' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
